Atta Banana Pancakes (Mini Pancake Bites) using Indifeast Whole Wheat Atta
Fluffy mini pancakes naturally sweetened with banana. A kid-favourite breakfast or snack.

Ingredients
For the pancake batter:
- 1 cup Indifeast Atta
- 1 ripe banana (mashed)
- 1 cup milk (or water)
- 1 tbsp jaggery or sugar (optional)
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp ghee or oil
- Saffron strands (optional)
- Cashews & raisins for garnish
For toppings:
- Honey (for kids above 1 year)
- Banana slices
- Berries
- Choco chips (optional)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp vinegar
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
Method
Prepare the Batter
- Mash banana in a bowl.
- Add milk, jaggery, cinnamon, and whisk.
- Add Indifeast Atta and baking powder.
- Mix to form a smooth batter.
- Rest for 5 minutes.
Cook the Pancakes
- Heat a tawa and brush with ghee.
- Pour small spoonfuls to make mini pancakes.
- Cook on low flame and flip when bubbles appear.
- Cook until golden.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until moisture evaporates.
- Cool completely before filling.
Serve
- Stack pancake bites.
- Drizzle honey or serve with fruit.
- Place 1 tbsp filling in the center.
- Fold and pleat edges to shape classic momos (round or half-moon).
- Ensure they are sealed properly.
Steam the Momos
- Heat water in a steamer.
- Grease the steamer plate lightly.
- Place momos with space in between.
- Steam for 8–10 minutes until the dough turns shiny and translucent.
Tips
- The batter should be thick, not runny.
- Replace milk with oat milk for a lactose-free version
- Add 1 tbsp cocoa for chocolate pancakes.
- Cook on low heat for fluffiness.
Serve With
- With honey or maple syrup
- With peanut butter (for kids above 3)
- With fruits for a complete meal
