Classic Chiroti Rava Sheera using Indifeast Chiroti Rava

For the cutlet mixture:
  • 1 cup Indifeast Chiroti Rava
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 2 cups hot water or milk
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • 6–8 cashews
  • 8–10 raisins
  • A few saffron strands (optional)

Method

  • Roast the Rava
    • Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan.
    • Add Indifeast Chiroti Rava and roast on low flame until aromatic and light golden.
    • Add cashews and raisins; roast briefly.
  • Cook the Sheera
    • Slowly pour the hot liquid into the Rava while stirring continuously
    • Cook until the mixture thickens.
    • Add sugar and mix well until it dissolves.
    • Add 1 tbsp ghee and cardamom powder.
    • Cook for 2–3 minutes until soft and silky.

  • Use milk instead of water for richer taste.
  • Add banana slices or pineapple chunks for a breakfast twist.
  • Adjust sugar as per sweetness preference.
  • For a healthier version, reduce ghee and add chopped dates.
